Many of countries natural gas reserves have nitrogen concentrations considerably above the allowable 4% pipeline spec. CKC can use pressure swing adsorption, refrigerated lean oil absorption, membranes, or cryogenics to reduce the nitrogen concentration. Each technology has its preferred application range regarding flow rate, pressure N2 concentration, H2S and CO2 concentrations. CKC has the background to evaluate which process is more applicable.

With domestic gas production dropping and prices rising, nitrogen rejection technology has come of age economically. Proper application of the correct technology is the primary stumbling block. It is necessary to have reasonable estimates of future deliverability and composition trend lines.
CKC can supply systems to treat streams as small as 50 MSCFD. Upper range is realistically limited to 15 MM SCFD.
